Our 100% Merino Wool Jersey in chilli red is grown, dyed and knitted right here in Australia using ethically sourced, certified non-mulesed wool. With its beautiful drape, breathable structure, and buttery-soft feel, this fabric is a must-have for your handmade wardrobe.

Projects: Children and adult sewing patterns using jersey knit fabric. Suitable patterns includes t-shirts, tops, leggings, skirts, dresses, sleep wear, lounge wear and other apparel wear.

Care Instruction: Cold Wash on Gentle or Wool Cycle (use WOOLMARK approved detergent) / Line Dry / No Ironing / No Bleaching (including optical brighteners and whitening agents) / No Tumble Dry / No Dry Cleaning

*Some laundry detergent include optical brighteners and whitening agents. This is a fluorescent substance added to detergents in order to produce a whitening effect on laundry which acts like bleach and can change, lighten or cause blotchy discolouration in fabric after washing.

    I loved this fabric. The colour is rich and deep. I used a ballpoint needle and machine sewed the seams and overlocked the seam. The material responded beautifully. Next to sew the black merino!

    I have not sewn this material yet but really looking forward to using it. I ordered a wool jersey which arrived very promptly. Fabric is of high quality and was reasonably priced. Very impressed with Wicked Fabrics.

    I love the quality, and my purchases arrived SO quickly. I have washed my fabric, but haven’t sewn it as yet, as I am completing a two piece garment. The merino is next on my list and I’m looking forward to sewing it.
