Made in Europe from 95% cotton and 5% elastane, this premium stretch knit fabric has the comfort of breathable cotton with just the right amount of recovery, making it a gorgeous choice for everyday handmade clothing.
At 220gsm, it has a lovely mid-weight feel: substantial enough for fitted tops, leggings, kids’ clothing and basics, while still offering a soft drape for dresses, skirts, tees and relaxed layers. With 50% stretch both vertically and horizontally, this 4-way stretch cotton jersey fabric is ideal for patterns that call for at least 50% stretch.
Because it is cotton-rich, it feels soft against the skin, breathes beautifully, and is comfortable to wear across the seasons. The elastane helps it move with the body and return to shape, so your makes feel good from the first wear and keep their shape wash after wash.

Wash Instruction: Cold wash, line dry, no bleach or optical brighteners. Low tumble dry if needed. Do not dry clean. Do not iron.
Many standard laundry detergents contain optical brighteners, so it is worth checking the label before washing your beautiful fabric.

This would have to be my favourite fabric to sew with and wear. The quality is beautiful and it washes and wears so well. It is my go to for t-shirts and tee dresses which I live in.
